Your new home of Ilonggo dishes is now in Maginhawa! Balai Namit

The newest Ilonggo Restaurant in Maginhawa, Balai Namit just opened last September 2019.

Ilonggo Cuisine are among the worlds most exotic yet sumptuous kind-up of mouthwatering dishes that boast of the finest Ilonggo skills when it comes to cooking.

I’ve been to Bacolod few years ago and I could say that aside from good places to visit , I enjoyed the food experience too.

Balai Namit is your new home for your Ilonggo Cravings. Balai means “house” and Namit means delicious. One of their best seller is their Chicken Inasal. The taste can be compared to chicken Inasal that I tasted in Bacolod. It’s authentic and delicious!

Last October 18 (Friday), went to Balai Namit in Maginhawa QC with some of my foodie friends . The place was just beside BlackScoop Maginhawa. Check out their menu .

We had the following dishes :

✔️ Inasal Paa – 150

✔️Inasal Pecho Pak- 170

✔️Pan Fried Spareribs- 180

✔️Grilled Spareribs- 180

✔️ Grilled Porkbelly – 200

✔️Chicken Neck -80

✔️ Isol- 80

*All of their grilled dishes was so grilled . My friends and I loved the delectable flavors in every dish . The good thing about Balai Namit is that they make their own sauce and chicken oil and everything was cooked evenly.

Then we also had this popular Ilonggo dish , Original Beef Kansi. It has tender beef and jackfruit in a hot and sour broth. If your a fan of Sinigang , you’ll like this even more . Comfort food at its best !

Regular bowl is for (2pax) 180 pesos and the big bowl is good for (4pax) 350 pesos only . Perfect for sharing and amount of serving was generous .

If your looking for some veggies, they have it too. They have this stir fry vegetables for only 80 pesos and if your looking for seafood, they have here a delicious tuna belly . The tuna was fresh and delish .

Not only that , they have also good desserts! Black Sambo and Creamy Tapioca. Both are only 80 pesos . They really served unique desserts at Balai Namit.

The place was big and spacious . Seating capacity is around 50 pax. You can even book your private events like birthday or family reunions .

Overall experience: From chicken , to meat, vegetable and seafood everything was good . The serving was generous and price was very affordable and you’ll love the homey ambience .

Why go to Bacolod when you can have it here in Maginhawa. They also have a branch inside 8 Seas Food Park in QC near GMA7. Will recommend this to my family , friends and fellow foodies !
